Services

Supported Employment

Supported Employment is a person-centered, evidence-based behavioral health service that assists individuals with serious mental illness in obtaining and maintaining competitive, integrated employment in the community. Services are individualized and based on the person’s preferences, strengths, and recovery goals.

Eligibility criteria include:

  • Individuals 18 years of age or older

  • Diagnosis of Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI)

  • May include individuals with co-occurring mental health and/or substance use disorders

Services may include job development, job coaching, benefits counseling, and ongoing support to promote long-term employment stability and community integration.

Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR)

Psychosocial Rehabilitation is a person-centered, recovery-oriented service designed to assist adults with serious and persistent mental illness in restoring and developing skills necessary for community living, social integration, and independent functioning. Services are individualized and based on the member’s strengths, needs, and recovery goals.

Service components may include:

  • Skill-building to support personal recovery

  • Community integration and socialization

  • Development of independent living skills

  • Pre-vocational and employment readiness activities

  • Enhancement of educational and daily life skills

Services are provided in a structured setting for a minimum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, excluding weekends and designated holidays.


 

Outpatient Therapy

Outpatient Therapy is a person-centered behavioral health service designed to support individuals in addressing a range of emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs. Services are individualized and based on the person’s clinical needs, strengths, and treatment goals.

Areas of focus may include:

  • Adjustment to life transitions and stressors

  • Interpersonal and relationship concerns

  • Mental health conditions and emotional wellness

  • Substance use and co-occurring disorders

 

Services are provided in a supportive, therapeutic environment to promote insight, coping skills, and overall functioning.

Residential Services

Residential Services provide structured, supportive living environments for adults with mental health (MH) and intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD). These services are designed to promote stability, independence, and community integration through individualized, person-centered supports.

 

All residential sites are licensed by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS), Division of Health Service Regulation, and operate in compliance with state regulatory standards.

Facilities are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by qualified professionals and paraprofessionals to ensure the health, safety, supervision, and support of all residents.
